Hi all,

As most of you would know, I have now given up my classes and have enjoyed actually attending some classes (thanks Helen & Mel - 2 very talented ladies!). Here are a couple of cards I have made recently. My hope is that by giving up classes I will actually have some time to enjoy my craft room and do a little more creating!!

Hope you like them!

The first card has been made on acetate with the cottage garden papers/stamps from Stampin Up!

The second card also uses Stampin Up! stamps and accessories. (I gave this one to Peter's mum for her birthday recently).

The photos aren't very good, but you get the general idea.

Thanks for looking!

6 months has passed again!!

Hi all,

As per tradition, it has been 6 months and I guess it is time to post again!!! I cannot believe how quickly time flies! I had promised that it wouldn't be as long before posts in my last one, but here we are again - 6 months later!!

I am trying to sort out a few things at the moment (work, family life, stampin up) and how I can fit everything in again, so that I can become a little more involved with Stampin Up again, as I really miss everything, i.e. blogging, creating, sharing, attending events, hosting events, etc... I am hoping to be able to start holding some workshops again and continuing my bi-monthly stamp-a-stacks. I also want to be able to blog more regularly and keep you all updated on what is happening in the world of Stampin Up!

I wanted to let you all know about a wonderful promotion that is happening during the month of June.

During the month of June, Stampin' Up! will offer several discounted products as "Deals of the Week." No limits and no minimum purchase required.

Each week the deal will change, so if you would like to order anything on offer during that week, you will have to contact me asap!

During Week 1 which runs from 2 June to 8 June you can order any of the following punches:

Scallop Square punch as found on page 152 of the IB&C (idea book & catalogue)

Trio Flower punch as found on page 153 of the IB&C

Boho Blossoms punch as found on page 153 of the IB&C

Scallop Oval punch from the carry-over flyer

the regular price for all 4 punches is $30.95, you can order for this week only at the amazing price of $20.12 (plus p&h).

This promotion is unbelievable, it is such a fantastic price!! (I know a few people who will be receiving punches for birthdays and christmas this year!! lol..)

Anyway, better keep going. I will be back very shortly with some photos of what we are making at the stamp-a-stack I am holding on Monday night, so keep an eye open for that!

Talk soon,

I am Back!

Hi all, just a quick post to let you know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth and that I am back!! I am currently on holidays for 1 more week and in that time hope to finally sort out my craft room and have something to post on here for you!!

So much has happened since the last time I posted - I guess that is a given seeing as it has been over 6 months since I have been here last, wow that has gone so fast!! We have moved into our new home and settled in nicely, just a couple of little jobs to finish off (when we find the time!), I have changed my hours at my actual job and now work part time (well sort of, I still work 4 days a week, doesn't really feel part time!) and Georgia turned 2 in November!!!

I have also been dabbling in a few other crafts including cake making and sewing. I have made a few different pieces of clothing including a couple of cute little skirts for Georgia, and a dress and skirt for myself. I will take some pictures and show you when I get a chance. My next big creation will be a cubby house for Georgia, it looks so cute! It will actually be more like a palace and it will obviously be for indoors as it will have a padded floor with organza windows and doors. It is the type that can be hung from the ceiling and looks so cute. Anyway, I will see how I go with that, hopefully it will work out for her.

Here is a picture of the cake I made for Georgia's 2nd Birthday party. It is a cake full of balloons.

The theme of Georgia's party was Teddy Bears' Picnic, so here are the party tins that we handed out to the children at the end, they were a bit of a hit!

I will be back soon with more to show you!!

It's June Already!!

Hi all,

I can't believe it is June already!! Where has the year gone!! Now for those that I have not seen in the past week or so, I just wanted to let you know that I won't be doing any Stampin' Up! workshops for a little while again. Life is pretty crazy at the moment, so I am taking some time out. I am still doing catalogue parties and I will be doing my Monday night classes every second month starting from July.

We had a Stamp-A-Stack class on Monday and it was great! Here are some of the cards that we made -

I hope you all enjoyed it! Don't forget to book your seat for the next one!!

Here is the June challenge -

There are no particular rules this month, only being to use this sketch as a base. You can add a sentiment, or something down the bottom. You can use ribbon or whatever you like! Let your imagination run wild!!

Entries are due by 11.59pm on Saturday, 20th June, link of your entry to my blog. Good luck, can’t wait to see your entries!!

Here is a picture of our kitchen, it is looking so gorgeous. We have been told that we might be able to start moving in in about 5 weeks!! I am in panic mode now, have to start packing!!!

Thanks for reading! Talk to you all again soon!

Update

Hi all,

Now I am sure life is crazy for all of you, but sometimes don't you just wish things would slow down!!

We had a bit of a scare earlier this week with a trip to the hospital for Georgia on Sunday. This trip turned into a 3 day stay at Hervey Bay hospital with a pretty severe virus. She had high temps that we couldn't control with panadol and nurofen, so she was best to stay in hospital so that the doctors could monitor her. They put her on an IV so that they could keep up the fluids as she wasn't eating or drinking and I have to say this was the most traumatic thing I have ever been through (and I am sure Georgia would say the same if she could tell you a story)!! The staff and doctors at the hospital were wonderful but I am so happy to be home in my own bed and finally getting some sleep!! What a happy mothers day I had!!!

Now before all of this happened I was actually able to get some cards made for my challenge and for mothers day.

Here is the very late attempt at my challenge for you -

And here are a couple of other cards I was able to make, this is the mother's day card that we gave to Peter's mum -

I forgot to take a photo of the card I gave to my mum, so I will have to take a photo and put it on here later.. I got on a bit of a roll, so I made this one as well.

Now here is an update on our house, the external brick work is mostly finished and the internal walls are up.

Here is what the kitchen looked like before we went to hospital -

And after we got home!!

Amazing isn't it, I can't believe how fast it is coming together!!! I am getting more and more excited every week, I can't wait!!!

Now finally, just to show you that Georgia is doing fine, here she is talking on the phone yesterday -

And of course, throwing a tantrum this morning, so she is obviously feeling much better!!!

We think she is still gorgeous even when throwing tantrums though!!!

Don't forget to get your entries in for my sketch challenge!!

And lastly just to let you know I am having a stamp-a-stack on Monday, 1st June at the RSL from 7-9pm so contact me ASAP to book your seat or to ask for more information.

Wow! I can take a breath now, that was a long update....

Take care, see you all soon!!
